The Public Funding Coordinator plays an important role at Habitat LA by providing administrative support for the Public Funding Team, including clerical, data entry, mailings, scheduling, and project-based work.
This position will also participate in team activities, meetings, and events, and support Public Funding applications.
SUMMARY OF
Essential Functions:
Provide administrative support and file management for the Public Funding team.
Assist with logistical support related to the submission and management of Public Funding contracts.
Research and stewardship:
assist with funder prospecting, research grant information, and collect and compile data on public funding opportunities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or at least two years of related work experience.
Computer/System Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite, RENXT Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
Must have access to a reliable internet connection.
Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA driver's license and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance.
Although no longer required, we strongly encourage all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and will continue to require all employees to submit their vaccination status by the date of hire.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
Other Requirements:
Travel to meetings and events as necessary.
