GENERAL DESCRIPTION Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is seeking a qualified candidate to accurately photograph and post items on the Habitat LA ReStores online platforms using descriptive photos and product descriptions, tagging and staging paid orders for pickup, and shipping eligible orders.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Process received donations, create listings with accurate locations, write product descriptions, and take photographs of items being sold.
It is an expectation to capture an accurate inventory of all items for e-commerce and maintain a well-organized warehouse area including the fulfillment and staging of orders.
Involvement in loading and unloading large/heavy customer-ordered products and/or receiving donations.
At times the consolidation of staged product bays may be necessary to ensure maximum use of available storage space for inventory.
Assisting with posting promotional social graphic content which includes posting items on our Instagram stories/feed as assigned.
Preparation of e-commerce promotional sale campaigns which include Klayvio email blasts, creating promotional banner graphics for website in Canva, and updating promotion discounts in Shopify/eBay.
Prepare, package, and ship purchased items within 2-3 days of purchase date and ensure proper tracking information is provided to customers.
This includes logging return and canceled orders in the refund log and adding appropriate notes to a customer's order.
SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS Proficiency in eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, eBay, Shipstation, Klayvio, Canva Time Management and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Customer-focused approach with a dedication to providing exceptional service and support.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, a criminal background check, and a 75 lb.
lift test.
Although no longer required, we strongly encourage all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and will continue to require all employees to submit their vaccination status by the date of hire WORK CONDITIONS Frequently is required to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
